When will Kūlia Christian Academy open?
KCA is set to welcome its first group of preschool students in August 2022.
What are the school hours?
KCA's hours are from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm daily. The regular school hours are from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. We do ask that students arrive by 8:30 am.
How old does my child have to be to attend KCA?
KCA is a preschool program servicing students between the ages of 2 years and 9 months through 5-years old. Students enrolled must turn 3 by December 31 of the year enrolled.
How many students will be enrolled?
KCA's current student capacity is 84 students.
How many classrooms will KCA have?
At capacity, the preschool will have 3 classrooms. A 3's class, a 4's class, and a junior kindergarten class.
Are meals and snacks included with tuition?
Two daily snacks, one in the morning and one after a nap, are included with your tuition. Every Monday, we will have "Sack Lunch Mondays" and families will provide a home lunch for their children. On Tuesdays - Fridays, school lunches will be provided at no additional cost. Snack and lunch menus will be available prior to the start of each new month. All meals will be prepared by New Hope Cafe which is also housed at NHO's Sand Island Campus.
Does my child have to be potty-trained before starting at KCA?

Students entering the 4's and JK classes must be potty-trained to begin at KCA.

It is preferred that students entering the 3's program are also potty-trained. However, if your child is working on potty training, but has not mastered the skill, our staff will work with you to potty-train your child.

There is no additional cost for those entering the three-year-old class if they are not completely potty-trained.
