A Letter from our Senior Pastor

Aloha!

At New Hope Oʻahu, we love our keiki! Since our founding in 1995, we have strived to provide the best programs and environments for our keiki to learn more about God, grow in their faith, and build Christ-centered relationships with those around them. While our Children’s Ark and Youth and Young Adults (Y+YA) ministries have allowed us to care for your keiki on the weekends, we are beyond excited for the opportunity to care for your keiki during the week through our Kūlia Christian Academy preschool.

Proverbs 22:6 says, “train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” We believe this precept of antiquity to be absolutely true in modernity. At Kūlia Christian Academy, it is our heart to love and care for your child in a way that allows them to experience God’s love in a safe environment so that they may develop a strong, Christ-centered foundation that they will always be able to return to.

As a kupuna with three grandchildren myself, I know the immeasurable value and utmost importance of an early childhood education for the littlest members of our

ohana. Here at New Hope Oʻahu, we consider it an immense privilege to be able to teach and care for your children. We do not take your trust lightly and pledge to provide your keiki with the same care, attention, and aloha we would give to our own ʻohana.

Our church’s first core value is “we believe that every person, Christian and non-Christian alike, is valuable to God and to His Kingdom.” This includes our keiki! Our children are our future, and through Kūlia Christian Academy, we hope to pour into them the love, the values, and the wisdom necessary to succeed, lead, and thrive in today’s ever-changing world. We hope and pray that Kūlia Christian Academy blesses you, your ʻohana, and our community.

With much love and aloha,
